HOW CONTRACT HIRE WORKS

A mixer and driver that feel like part of your team

Contract hire puts one of our modern 7.5m³ mixers and an experienced driver at your plant on an ongoing basis. It’s booked a month at a time on a rolling contract, so you get dependable extra capacity for as long as you need it, without committing to a long fixed term.

Wherever possible you’ll have the same driver with you each week. They get to know your plant, your procedures, your sites and your customers, and work as part of your operation, while the truck stays in TGA livery and we look after the maintenance, compliance and the driver.

If there are days within the month when you don’t need the truck, just give us as much notice as you can and we’ll try to save you money where we can.

Contract hire at a glance

Truck and driver included
Every hire comes with one of our experienced, MP Connect card-holding drivers.
Rolling monthly contract
The minimum contract is one month, and it rolls on month by month for as long as you need it.
The same driver each week
Wherever possible, the same driver works with you every week, so they know your plant and your customers.
Days you don't need us
If you need to stand the truck down for a day within the contract, give us prior notice and we'll try to save you money where we can.
Servicing, MOTs and inspections
From time to time the truck will need to return to our base for its service, MOT or safety inspection. Where needed, we'll supply an alternative vehicle so your cover continues.
Washout provided by you
Washout facilities must be supplied by the customer at the end of each shift.
Ending the contract
To cancel the following month, please give us one week's notice before the end of the current month.
