HOW DAILY HIRE WORKS

Extra capacity, exactly when you need it

Daily hire gives your plant an extra mixer and driver for a single day, with no long-term commitment. Our truck leaves our base in Peterborough and arrives at your plant ready to load, so your deliveries keep moving on your busiest days.

Every daily hire is for a minimum of 10 hours, plus the travel time from our base to yours and back. Our drivers know concrete inside out and hold an MP Connect card, so they slot straight into your plant procedures and look after your customers on site.

At the end of the shift the truck needs to be washed out before it heads home, so we ask that washout facilities are provided at your plant.

Truck and driver included

Every hire comes with one of our experienced, MP Connect card-holding drivers.

Minimum 10-hour hire

Each daily hire is booked for a minimum of 10 hours on the job.

Plus travel

Travel time from our Peterborough base to your plant, and back, is added to the hire.

Washout provided by you

Washout facilities must be supplied by the customer at the end of the shift.

Cancellations

Cancellations must be made before 12:00 noon the day before the hire. Later cancellations will be charged at the minimum 10 hours.
